XXXV ALL INDIA G. V. MAVALANKAR SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP IN SHOTGUN EVENTS
The XXXV All India G. V. Mavlankar Shooting Championship in Shotgun (NR) events will be held at Bhai Devinder Singh Sidhu Gun Club, Bhucho, Distt. Bhatinda, Punjab from 27th September to 3rd October, 2026. Conducted by Rifle Association of Andhra Pradesh under the aegis of the National Rifle Association of India as per rules and regulation under NRAI Match Book.
Rules & Regulations
All the matches will be conducted according to NRAI Match Book. Shooting kit (clothing & Equipment) of the competitors during the competition will be strictly according to ISSF Rules. Code of conduct as outlined by NRAI/ISSF must be strictly followed.
Eligibility Criteria
Athlete is eligible to participate in AIGVMSC only if he/she has achieved the minimum qualifying scores as per Rule 1.4 of NRAI Match Book in previous AIGVMSC, Zonal Championship or State Championship. Athletes below the age of 12 years are not allowed to participate in firearm matches. Must possess valid Shooter ID.
Awards & Prizes
Medals will be awarded in individual categories: 4 Athletes - 3 Medals; 3 Athletes - 2 Medals; 2 Athletes - 1 Medal; 1 Athlete - no Medal. Medals/Badges will not be awarded to those whose score is less than the qualifying marks.
Event Schedule
27 Sep: Trap PET; 28-29 Sep: Trap Competitions; 30 Sep: Double Trap PET; 01 Oct: Double Trap Competitions; 02 Oct: Skeet PET; 03 Oct: Skeet Competitions. Prize distribution ceremony after each event.
