RAJA RANDHIR SINGH MEMORIAL CUP 2026 (SHOTGUN EVENTS) Patiala, is being organized and conducted by the National Rifle Association of India at New Moti Bagh Gun Club, Patiala, Punjab with close cooperation of Punjab Rifle Shooting Association and New Moti Bagh Gun Club, Patiala, Punjab. Raja Randhir Singh was one of India's most distinguished shotgun shooters, an Olympian, and an iconic sports administrator whose contributions transcended the field of play. In his honour, the National Rifle Association of India has decided to organize the Raja Randhir Singh Memorial Cup 2026 (Shotgun events) which is at par with the Rules & Regulations of India Open Competition Shotgun events.
Rules & Regulations
The Matches will be conducted in accordance with NRAI Match Book under NR Rules and ISSF Rules. Shooting kit (clothing & Equipment) of the competitors during the competition will be strictly according to ISSF Rules. Shooting practice in hotels is strictly prohibited. Protests and appeals will be dealt as per ISSF & NRAI Match Book. The Protest fee is Rs. 200/- (plus 18% ) Rs.236/- and in case of appeal to Jury of Appeal, the protest fee is Rs. 500/-(plus 18% GST) Rs.590/-. Athletes must adhere to CODE OF CONDUCT, WADA/NADA rules.
Eligibility Criteria
a) Athletes who have participated in Pre-State Championship/State Championship/AIGVMSC/Zonal Championship/ India Open Competition or in NSCC are eligible to participate in this Competition. In case any State Rifle Association fails to conduct the Pre-State Championship, the NRAI reserves the right to allow athletes of that State to participate in this competition. b) Athletes who are renowned shooters during 67th or 68th NSCC are eligible to participate in Trap Men/Women (ISSF) events. c) Athletes achieving MQS (NR) under Rule 17.6 of NRAI Match Book, as per Annexure 'A' during this competition, will be eligible to participate in 69th NSCC. d) Athletes are not eligible to participate in AIGVMSC/Zonal Championship, based on the performance during this competition. e) Penalty rules apply for low scores or unqualified entries. ATHLETES BELOW THE AGE OF 12 YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE DURING THIS CHAMPIONSHIP.
Awards & Prizes
a) Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal will be awarded in each category in individual events. b) Individual medals will be awarded on the basis of Qualification Scores in all categories. c). Rule 10 of NRAI Match Book will apply for award of medals.
