ERA Beginner Match 2k26 and Erode 1st Open Shooting Championship 2k26
The ERA Beginner Match 2k26 and Erode 1st Open Shooting Championship 2k26 (Air Rifle and Air Pistol events only) conducted under the aegis of Tamil Nadu Shooting Association and organized by Erode Rifle Academy.
Rules & Regulations
Shooters participating in PEEP sight events cannot participate in OPEN sight events and vice-versa. Event organizer will not provide any weapon for the competition. All weapons must be in accordance with NRAI specification. Random weapon checks will be done. Shooters taking part in the ISSF category cannot take part in NR category matches. Weapon sharing will be limited to the number of details allotted for the particular match. Proper dress code must be maintained (no chappals, sandals, jeans, camouflage, sleeveless tops, miniskirts, cargo pants/shorts). Photography and cell phones are strictly prohibited inside the range.
Eligibility Criteria
Shooters of any club/units affiliated with state associations under The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) are only permitted to participate. Shooters who have not qualified for nationals can take part in NR category only. Shooters below the age of 10 are not allowed to participate. Sub Youth, Youth and Junior shooters can take part in categories above their age group except masters and senior masters. Proof of age (Passport / Birth Certificate / NRAI Shooter ID / Bona fide Certificate from School) must be submitted along with entry form.
Awards & Prizes
Individual and team medals will be awarded as under: 3 medals where there is a minimum of 4 entries; 2 medals where there is a minimum of 3 entries; 1 medal where there is a minimum of 2 entries; Zero medals in case there is a single entry. Overall championship trophies will be awarded for NR and ISSF Matches separately based on points: Gold – 5, Silver – 3, Bronze – 2.

Individual Entry Fee: NR Open Sight/Peep Sight/Air Pistol - 800 INR, ISSF Peep Sight/Air Pistol - 1000 INR. Team Entry Fee: 1200 INR. Late entries with triple entry fee accepted till 22nd May 2026.
