45th North Zone Shooting Championship 2026 in Rifle (NR) Events
The 45th North Zone Shooting Championship 2026 in Rifle/Pistol events will be held at Trishul Shooting Range, Maharana Pratap Sports College, Raipur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand from 3rd to 8th September, 2026. This Championship will be conducted Uttrakhand Rifle Association under the aegis of the National Rifle Association of India and as per rules and regulations under NRAI Match Book.
Rules & Regulations
Conducted under NRAI Match Book rules and regulations. Penalty of Rs. 3000/-(plus 18% GST = Rs.3540/-) per Athlete for scores below 85% of qualifying score. Penalty of Rs. 5000/- (plus 18% GST = Rs.5900/-) for unqualified event entries. Strict adherence to ISSF dress code and code of conduct.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to athletes belonging to North Zone states (Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand). Must have achieved MQS as per Rule 1.4 of NRAI Match Book during State Championship. Minimum age: 12 years for firearm events, 10 years for air weapon events.
Awards & Prizes
Individual Medals awarded as: 4 Athletes - 3 Medals, 3 Athletes - 2 Medals, 2 Athletes - 1 Medal, 1 Athlete - no Medal. Medals/Badges not awarded to those scoring below qualifying marks (except Deaf, Para, Senior Masters, Super Masters).
Event Schedule
Sept 3: Training/Competition (10M Air Rifle, 50M Rifle Prone, 50M Rifle 3 Position); Sept 4-7: Competition; Sept 8: Competition & Prize Distribution.

Normal fee: 50M Rifle Prone/3 Position - Rs. 675/- plus 18% GST (Total Rs. 797/-); 10M Rifle / Para Matches - Rs. 950/- plus 18% GST (Total Rs. 1121/-). Triple fee applicable till 21st August 2026.
