The 13th West Zone Shooting Championship 2026 in Rifle (NR) events conducted by State Rifle Association of Goa under the aegis of the National Rifle Association of India.
Rules & Regulations
Conducted as per rules and regulations under NRAI Match Book. ISSF dress code and equipment regulations apply. Age criteria per ISSF Rule 3.7.4.12 determined as on 31st December of the competition year. No shot value protests considered. Shooting practice in hotels strictly prohibited.
Eligibility Criteria
Open only to Athletes belonging to the West Zone (Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Daman & Diu) and eligible domicile/posted para military/AI/ONGC/affiliated unit athletes with written NRAI permission. Athletes below 12 years not allowed in firearm matches; below 10 years not allowed in air weapon events. Must have achieved required MQS scores per NRAI Match Book rule 1.4.
Awards & Prizes
Individual medals awarded based on participation: 4 Athletes - 3 Medals, 3 Athletes - 2 Medals, 2 Athletes - 1 Medal, 1 Athlete - no Medal. Medals/Badges not awarded to those scoring less than minimum qualifying marks (except Deaf, Para, Senior Masters, Super Masters).

10M Rifle & Para 10M events: Rs. 950/- + 18% GST = Rs. 1121/- per match; 50M Rifle Prone / 3 Position & Para 50M events: Rs. 675/- + 18% GST = Rs. 797/- per match. Normal fee deadline: 18th August 2026 till 7:30 PM. Triple fee deadline: 19th August 2026 till 7:30 PM.
