13th West Zone Shooting Championship 2026 in Pistol (NR) Events
The 13th West Zone Shooting Championship 2026 in Pistol (NR) events will be held at The Ahmedabad Military and Rifle Training Association Rifle Club, Mahaveer Marg, Old City, Khanpur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat-38000 from 7th to 13th September, 2026 as per rules and regulations under NRAI Match Book. This Championship will be conducted by State Rifle Association of Gujarat under the aegis of the National Rifle Association of India.
Rules & Regulations
As per rules and regulations under NRAI Match Book and ISSF Rules. Protests fee is Rs. 354/- (including 18% GST). Duplicate Competitor Card fee is Rs. 236/- (including 18% GST). Penalty of Rs. 3000/- (+18% GST = Rs. 3540/-) per athlete scoring below 85% of qualifying score. Penalty of Rs. 5000/- (+18% GST = Rs. 5900/-) for entry in unqualified events. No shot value protests considered. Shooting practice in hotels is strictly prohibited. Dress code strictly according to ISSF Rules (Half pants/Jeans and chapels/slippers not permitted on the range).
Eligibility Criteria
Open to Athletes belonging to the West Zone only (Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Daman & Diu). Athletes from other States not permitted even as Guest Athletes. Athletes from para military forces, AI, ONGC, and affiliated units domicile or posted in Western States eligible with prior written permission from NRAI. Athletes below 12 years not allowed in firearm matches; below 10 years not allowed in air weapon events. Age eligibility determined as on 31st December 2026. Athletes must not have achieved MQS in 67th/68th NSCC under rule 17.6 to participate. Must have achieved MQS as per Rule 1.4 of NRAI Match Book in current State Championship.
Awards & Prizes
Individual Medals awarded as: 4 Athletes = 3 Medals, 3 Athletes = 2 Medals, 2 Athletes = 1 Medal, 1 Athlete = no Medal. Medals/Badges not awarded to those whose score is less than qualifying marks (does not apply to Deaf, Para, Senior Masters, and Super Masters categories).

10M Pistol & Para 10M events: Rs. 950/- per match plus 18% GST (Rs. 1121/-). 25M & 50M events & Para 25M/50M events: Rs. 675/- per match plus 18% GST (Rs. 797/-). Last date with normal fee is 21st August, 2026 till 7.30 pm; with triple fee is 22nd August, 2026 till 7.30 pm.
