0755 INDIA OPEN COMPETITION - RIFLE & PISTOL NR EVENTS 2026 organized by the National Rifle Association of India at MP State Shooting Academy, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The level of competition is Pre-National Level Competition as defined under NRAI Match book.
Rules & Regulations
Participation will be as per Rules & Regulations of NRAI and ISSF. Participation in various age categories is allowed with additional entry fee as per rules. Air Rifle and 50M Prone Events will be conducted in DECIMAL SCORING. Protests fee is Rs. 236/- and appeal fee to Jury of Appeal is Rs. 590/-. Shooting kit must strictly comply with ISSF Rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Athletes who have participated in Pre-State Championship/State Championship/AIGVMSC/Zonal Championship/India Open Competition or in NSCC and failed to achieve MQS are eligible to participate in NR Matches. Athletes completing age as on 31st December will be allowed in respective categories: Sub Youth (16 yrs or before, born 2010 or after), Youth (19 yrs or before, born 2007 or after), Juniors (21 yrs, born 2005 or after), Seniors (born 2004 or before), Masters (45-59 yrs, born 1967-1981), Senior Masters (60-69 yrs, born 1957-1966), Super Masters (70 yrs, born 1956 or before). Athletes below 12 years are not allowed in firearm matches; below 10 years not allowed in air weapon events. Para athletes must upload PCI-approved medical categorization certificate.
Awards & Prizes
Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals awarded in each category in individual events based on Qualification Scores. In the Walther Champion of Champions Final, the winner in each event (Air Rifle & Air Pistol) receives one Walther Air Weapon (LP500 / LG400), and an additional Walther Air Weapon is awarded to the State/Unit represented by the athlete.
