0341 INDIA OPEN COMPETITION IN AIR WEAPON NR EVENTS organized and conducted by the National Rifle Association of India at Asansol Rifle Club, West Bengal from 18th to 27th September, 2026.
Rules & Regulations
Participation will be as per Rules & Regulations of ISSF and NRAI Match Book. Level of Competition is Pre-National Level Competition. The Air Rifle Events will be conducted in DECIMAL SCORING. Protests fee: Rs. 200/-(plus 18% GST) = Rs.236/- and Appeal fee: Rs. 500/-(plus 18% GST) = Rs.590/-. Shooting kit according to ISSF Rules. ATHLETES BELOW THE AGE OF 10 YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN AIR WEAPON EVENTS.
Eligibility Criteria
Athletes who have participated in Pre-State Championship/State Championship/AIGVMSC/Zonal Championship/India Open Competition or in NSCC and failed to achieve MQS are eligible to participate in NR Matches. Age eligibility determined as on 31st December of the year: Sub Youth (16 years or before, Born 2010 or after), Youth (19 years or before, Born 2007 or after), Juniors (21 years, Born 2005 or after), Seniors (Born 2004 or before), Masters (45-59 years, Born 1967-1981), Senior Masters (60-69 years, Born 1957-1966), Super Masters (70 years, Born 1956 or before). Para Athletes require medical categorization certificate approved by PCI.
Awards & Prizes
Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal will be awarded in each category in individual events based on Qualification Scores. For Champion of Champions Final: The winner in each event (Air Rifle and Air Pistol) shall be awarded one Walther Air Weapon, and one Walther Air Weapon will be awarded to the State/Unit represented by the athlete.
Event Schedule
10M Air Rifle M&W (NR): 18th Sep (Training/Competition), 19th-21st Sep (Competition). 10M Air Pistol M&W (NR): 22nd Sep (Training/Competition), 23rd-27th Sep (Competition). Date of Award of Medals will be notified at range.
