Her stellar performance also saw her equalling the junior world record set by South Korea's Yang Jiin, who achieved a score of 41 twice in 2024.
Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar Shines in Men's 50m 3 Positions
The day commenced on a high note as Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar secured a silver medal in the men’s 50m 3 positions event. This impressive feat set the tone for a day filled with thrilling competitions.
Simranpreet's Outstanding Performance
In the final round of the women's 25m pistol event, Simranpreet showcased her exceptional shooting skills. Starting with two hits out of five, she shot an impressive 39 out of the next 45 rounds, consistently hitting above the required mark of 10.2. Her final score was a testament to her focus and dedication.

Simranpreet, who qualified fifth with a score of 584-25x, expressed her feelings post-competition, stating, “I was focused on executing my shots rather than focusing on the screen. I was calm, but inside, we have nervousness for the finals. I am just happy I executed it properly.”
Aishwary's Strong Finish
Aishwary Tomar's performance in the men’s 50m 3 positions event was equally commendable. He secured a score of 413.3, finishing just behind Jiri Privratsky of Czechia, who achieved a world record score of 414.2, while Liu Yukun from China took home the bronze with a score of 388.9.
After a challenging first half of the year, Aishwary has ended on a high note, having won:
- Gold at the Asian Championship
- Gold at the World Championship
- Silver at the World Cup Final
Anish Bhanwala's Silver in Men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol
Adding to India's medal tally, Anish Bhanwala secured silver in the men's 25m rapid fire pistol event, finishing with 31 hits, just two behind the legendary Chinese shooter and reigning Olympic champion Li Yuehong. This achievement marked Anish's second WCF medal, an upgrade from the bronze he won at the same venue two years ago.
The podium for this event was as follows:

- Bronze Medalist: Clement Bessaguet (France)
Looking Ahead
With new ISSF formats implemented in Doha, the competition saw eight finalists instead of the usual six. Anish secured his spot in the finals with a qualifying score of 583, while Vijayveer Sidhu also performed admirably, qualifying with a score of 579.
Reflecting on his experience, Anish stated, “Yes, it has turned out to be a great competition for me. I was vacationing after the World Championships and trained just enough for this match. It was a great competition, and I enjoyed the new format.”
As the ISSF World Cup Final nears its conclusion, India will have another opportunity to secure a medal on Monday, with Zorawar Sandhu set to compete in the men’s Trap final.
